This philosophy is deeply rooted in the upbringing of Nexus Arts Group founder Paresh M. Patel, who was raised in a home where music and hospitality were seamlessly intertwined. Friends, family, and great artists alike would gather around the family piano, sharing meals, ideas, and unforgettable evenings of music and connection. That spirit of welcome and cultural richness shaped Paresh’s vision for Nexus — a place where excellence is matched by kindness, and where hospitality is an extension of artistry.

Artistic Director Eric Dale Knapp shares this vision, having grown up in a family culture where hospitality was a way of life and music a constant presence. Together, Paresh and Eric draw on a rich tapestry of experiences — at home and in communities around the world — to shape a new standard of artistic hospitality that inspires, uplifts, and leads by example.
